We are proud to play, learn, and grow on this Country. Hedland Junior Football Association acknowledges that we are on Kariyarra Country in Hedland and recognise the Kariyarra People as the Traditional Owners of this land. We also acknowledge the Nyamal and Ngarla People as the Traditional Owners of the surrounding areas. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to emerging leaders, recognising their important role in preserving and sharing cultural knowledge, language, and traditions.
